Tri Avatar Productions is a Melbourne based independent film production
company. The Directors of this company are Deo and Kusum Narayan, who are
originally from Fiji.
Deo and Kusum left Fiji after the 1987 Military coup. After residing in New
Zealand for almost 10 years they migrated to Australia and have since lived in
Melbourne. In 2000, Deo took up training in Radio presentation and started
Humsafar program at the South Eastern Radio. This program became very
popular and increased from 3-hour weekly to 13-hour weekly programs. Due to
changes in programming at the station, Humsafar ceased in 2015.
